Our Training sessions happen monthly throughout the year. They are specialist led and geared specifically for those working in the creative Industries in Scotland.

GET THAT FUNDING with Glasgow CAN
28th October 2020, 10am – 12pm via Zoom
Hannah Justad, Glasgow CAN’s Executive Director, will lead attendees through how to approach searching and applying for funding for a Participatory Arts project. This workshop is aimed at attendees who run small organisations or collectives, or have been asked to soruce funding for a new project from a partner, with limited or no experience of applying for project funding. The group will explore what opportunities are out there in thie new climate, basic do’s and dont’s, and how to approach making applications; starting with a project plan. Time will also be given for attendees to share their experiences, ask questions and give one another peer support.
DELIVERING YOUTH ARTS ONLINE
25th November 2020, 10am – 12pm via Zoom
We have seen a huge shift in thinking and practice over the past 6 months in relation to youth arts activity with young people. We have had little choice but some amazing things have happened and some huge challenges faced. This session will be an opportunity for youth arts practitioners and coordinators to come together to share their experiences, best practice and hear from Glasgow CAN’s Director about how together with the Bold Collective, they approached delivering an enterely online project for young people aged 18-24 as part of Creative Scotland’s youth arts festival UnCon in November 2020.
