#CreativeConnect Networking

Friendly and informative networking for Glasgow creatives and freelancers. Currently taking place monthly on Zoom.

Our networking sessions take place once a month over Zoom. They are open to both Glasgow CAN members and non-members and are always FREE to attend. It is friendly, informal and a great opportunity to connect with fellow artists, freelancers and organisations. Each month we usually have a guest speaker or a particular topic or theme.

#CREATIVECONNECT with New Rhythms for Glasgow
Tuesday 10th November 2020, 11am – 12pm via Zoom

oin us for November’s #CreativeConnect (online) where we will be joined by member organisation New Rhythms for Glasgow, who are currently delivering a co-design project of the new Sighthill bandstand, in partnership with Glasgow City Council architect Nick Cotton, Glasgow Disability Alliance and PEEK (Possibilities for Each and Every Kid).

“Our aim is to work alongside community members of Sighthill to ensure that they are fully involved in the design and development of this wonderful new structure, which will be a key asset in their regenerated community.”

New Rhythms for Glasgow will deliver a short presentation on the aim, progress and desired outcomes of this project, while focusing on the importance of participatory arts within community development. As always there will be time for casual discussion/questions and to meet some of our other members, and of course gain inspiration and feel more connected in the sector. It’s only an hour and you are more than welcome to bring along a tea or coffee to sip as you listen in!
