The new Glasgow Arts Partnership (GAP) aims to address barriers that exist between grassroots practitioners and larger funded projects or opportunities. GAP allows GCAN acts as a ‘managing agent’ for a consortium of artists, applying for opportunities and linking these up directly with the artists.
If you would like to join GAP so that you can find out about and apply for these bespoke opportunities (only available to GAP members) then please fill in the short form below. So long as your practice is participatory and aligned broadly with the aims and values of GCAN then you will be very welcome. If you require any assistance to complete this form or have any questions please contact gap@glasgowcan.org
A ‘Memorandum of Understanding’ has been drafted, describing how GAP will operate and what is expected of both members and GCAN (the lead organisation)
A non-disclosure agreement applies to bid writing for opportunities that GAP may apply for. This means that should GAP apply collectively for an opportunity that is available through open competition, then individual members may also apply directly for the same opportunity, but they are not permitted to use proposals or creative strategies developed by GCAN or GAP in any individual applications.
