Composer & Development Worker
Four years experience in roles supporting vulnerable adults from a range of backgrounds – both in the UK and for NGOs in international development and education projects as well as developing new volunteer roles and engaging marginalised communities combined with over two years in volunteer management including developing new roles and has an understanding of all processes and procedures for managing volunteers and services. She will undertake an MMus Composition at the University of Edinburgh starting September 2019 on a part-time basis and wishes to specialise in participatory arts and community-based practice.
As a musician, composer and highly skilled improviser she’s starting to combine her areas of experience and is currently a freelance trainee facilitator with Common Wheel in their ‘Make Music Make Connections’ project aimed at young adults with acute mental health support needs. She is keen to collaborate further with anyone – particularly as a composer, and in projects which emphasise cross-cultural collaboration or engage particularly marginalised groups.
