A photograph of Cat Dunn hanging some of her design work on a wall

Hi, I’m Cat, I’m an eclectic mix of artist, activist and curator. As a wearable art artist my love of the Victorian Era, architecture and historic construction can be seen within the pieces.
However, the overall basis of my practice is grounded within creating or adding to Black Space where inclusivity and diversity is key. As an activist and curator my work seeks to engage and create dialogue through usage of engaging subjects as diverse as the civil rights movement, slavery, racism and feminism. I find myself investigating those aspects that are often hidden or misrepresented. In my varied and diverse approaches to making jewellery; installations; and curatorial projects, the context of the work must have an impact on the viewer.
