
Emma Collins is a coach, consultant, creative producer and fundraising specialist in the arts and charity sectors. She supports leaders and changemakers who don’t fit the mould to reach their true potential. Formerly the Executive Director of the Village Storytelling Centre and a senior leader in the third sector for over a decade, she has also been on the board of Glasgow CAN since 2014.
Emma is a dynamic, experienced leader specialising in supporting arts and third sector (especially health, disability and women’s sector) organisations towards sustainability through fundraising, business and strategic development and creative project management. Emma is passionate about the arts, human rights, social justice and work that makes a tangible difference to people’s lives.
Emma has an excellent track record in fundraising from trusts, foundations, grants and public sector bodies and has achieved significant grants and donations from funders such as Creative Scotland, the Big Lottery, the Robertson Trust, Foundation Scotland and Scottish Government. Emma is also experienced in developing revenue streams and programmes to generate income.
