I originally trained as an opera singer at both the Royal Northern College of Music, and the Alexander Gibson Opera School at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.
Whilst I still maintain some aspects of this in my career, I now mainly work as a consort/church musician.
Whilst studying I have worked various jobs from from surtitling at Opera North, to HR and Payroll in Sainsbury’s head office, to managing a team of 30 Customer Service agents for HarperCollins Publishers.
I’m keen to make arts administration/production (along with my singing work) my full time job, so any opportunities to gain direct, on the job experience would be fantastic.
