Eve Nicol is a playwright and director from Glasgow, specialising in new plays and music theatre.

Eve’s plays include If You’re Feeling Sinister [a play with songs] and One Life Stand. Eve’s work has been produced across the UK by Avalon and BBC Arts, Middle Child, Slung Low and developed by the Traverse and the National Theatre of Scotland.

As a director, Eve has lead new productions for the National Theatre of Scotland, Traverse and Tron, and developed new work with playwrights including Douglas Maxwell, Stef Smith and David Greig.

Eve is a Council Member of Scottish Society of Playwrights and published by Oberon Books. Eve earned a MLitt Playwriting and Dramaturgy from the University of Glasgow supported by the Scottish Funding Council.

In 2020, Eve will be working on projects with the National Theatre of Scotland, the Lyceum, Cumbernauld Theatre and the Comedy Unit and supported by Playwrights’ Studio, Scotland in development of new work.
