Josafinni is a community interior designer. She empowers communities to take ownership of their schools, community centers, and neighborhoods. Her holistic and multidisciplinary approach ensures that each project provides beautiful space with communities at the heart of the design process.
Wallpapers for a Primary school displays just how communities can make their mark on their spaces.
Josafinni developed and delivered drawing workshops with pupils from the school. Working in small groups they made a sculpture from foraged nature and used different drawing games to experiment with form, colour and texture, exploring the school’s values of kindness, respect, growth and sustainability.
After scanning in all the incredible drawings, Josafinni designed 9 bespoke wallpapers for the Primary School.
“I loved working with Finni during the art workshops. I’m usually not very confident with art, but Finni made me very comfortable. She allowed me to experiment with different styles of art and particularly liked the part when she timed us to see how much we could draw. I also love Finni’s wallpaper design for the new classrooms. The colours are beautiful and very calming.”
