At Glasgow Press, we have a collection of antique printing presses, wood and metal type and other vintage print equipment. Some pieces have been in our firm for many years and others have been rescued from the days when old style printing was being unceremoniously dumped.
We also have letterpress printing knowledge and skills which we want to share with the community and very importantly, the younger generation. Letterpress printing is a craft in danger of being lost!
We invite small groups to participate in writing, setting type, inking up and printing on our presses.
