Hometown Promotion Sound System is a social enterprise invested in the use of reggae sound system as a tool for community empowerment and enlightenment throughout Glasgow & Scotland.
Sound system’s are a resource that have proved invaluable to the development of communities across the world from the mid 20th century, giving a voice to the people and a forum to allow the sharing of skills, theory, friendship, community and music itself. Hometown continues this tradition in Glasgow & Scotland through a regular events programme that includes skills workshops, late night dances, community meals & more.
