Imprint is a feminist documentary film collective that aims to create an inclusive environment for emerging women and non-binary filmmakers to create and discuss work that focuses on embodiment and the body in film.
We produce, promote, program and distribute films that engage with the body as a way to create space for the body in the art and film industries. We provide filmmaking workshops and film education for the wider community, to learn more about filmmaking through an embodied lens.
Through collective practice, connection, and experimentation, we use audio-visual creativity to deepen our relationships with ourselves, each other, and our communities through a lens of restoration and wellbeing, and to create radical discussions on the role(s) of the body in the arts and wider society.
