Indra (They/Them) is a performance maker, researcher, producer and drama facilitator. Indra trusts that art and performance are tools to provoke conversation and social change. Because collaboration is at the heart of their understanding of art as a transformative process, they often collaborate with communities of marginalised identities who their work will affect. Their goal as an artist has always been to blur the line between performance-making and activism. Collaborating with the third-party sector and charity organisations with performance making. They graduated from The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland with a First Honours in Contemporary Performance Practice.
Indra graduated with a BA Honours in Contemporary Performance Practice from The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and has worked with a range of organisations, including Glass Theatre Company within HMYOI Polmont, Toonspeak, Beacon Art Centre, Scottish Youth Theatre, Platform Theatre Company, Culture Collective, The Village Storytelling Centre, The Tron Theatre and The Prince and Princesses of Wales Hospice.
Indra is also an experienced drama facilitator who has worked across various contexts and is a member of the WonderFools youth Board.
