Luke ‘Luca’ Cockayne (he/they) (b.1990) is a conceptual artist and writer based in the Southside of Glasgow. Previously known as Ana Hine, Luke’s work exists at the limits of language – using whatever medium is necessary to communicate ideas around what it means to be alive. He recently held an artistic performance at Turner Contemporary in Margate and has had several self-organised solo shows, including one at Saltspace Gallery. He has taken part in group shows in various publicly funded and/or artist-run spaces, including the Cooper Gallery, Generator Projects, Summerhall, and Coburg House Art Studios. Luke’s been performing his spoken word material for around a decade and is beginning to develop his writing into longer form pieces. He is looking for representation.
