Mobile Print Studio runs pop-up introductory printmaking workshops around Glasgow, provides in-depth classes in their East End studio and offers access to their facilities to artists. It is a community driven organisation that often engages with schools, local businesses and community groups to help people from all backgrounds and abilities take their first step on the printmaking ladder. From screen printing and etching to woodcut and collagraph there is something for everyone! The studio was founded and run by Glasgow School of Art graduate David Farrar who has over 10 years of printmaking experience after working as print technician for Design within the School. His mission is to make this fun and versatile art form more accessible through relaxed and affordable classes. David is a keen promoter of sustainability and uses a bike trailer to transport the studio to workshop locations all around the city.
