I am a graduate artist from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art with passion for art and communtiy. During the final year of my degree I began working as a support worker with Scottish Autism where I learnt valuable skills and understanding in the importance of art creating for those with and without disabilities. I hosted weekly expressive art workshops for Hilltown After School during the summer of 2021. I spent each week introducing the children to a wide range of art techniques that they may haven’t had the chance to try, including photography, spray paint, collage art and painting to music. The results of the work produced was highly inspiring and I hope to continue sharing my skills to show anyone can be an artist if given the opportunity. I am to make art more inclusive for those socially excluded from the art world.
