Nina is a Glasgow-based movement artist. Her main interests in her performance work are in ensemble improvisation, drawing on methods from instant composition and contact improvisation and experimenting with connections between movement and sound. Nina has a passion for facilitating and teaching contact improvisation and is co-director of The Glasgow Jam, a contact improvisation-oriented community organisation. She is also a workshop leader and performer with LOOP, an inclusive physical theatre company. Nina’s work has strong roots in somatic approaches, and she is completing a course in somatic practices at the Somatic Academy in Berlin.
