The Royal Glasgow Institute (RGI) is an independent organisation promoting, supporting, and encouraging Scotland’s contemporary art and artists. It one of the oldest organisations of its kind in the UK. The RGI organise a range of events including open exhibitions, performances, educational outreach activities, workshops, and an annual film festival. The RGI also traditionally hosts one of Scotland’s largest Annual Exhibitions in an array of spaces annually.
Through various opportunities, we support artists at various stages of their career providing a central platform for an array exhibitions, events, and performances at the RGI Kelly Gallery at 118 Douglas Street.
