Sarah is an actor, voice over artist and drama facilitator. She trained at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and has performed in a range of mediums including theatre, radio, voice over and film and has worked across the UK. Notable credits include performing in London’s West End and winning a BAFTA Scotland New Talent Award. Sarah also has just over 10 years experience of working with children and young people in both care and arts facilitation settings. As a freelance drama facilitator, she has worked with Lyra, Lung Ha’s Theatre Company, The MGA Academy of Performing Arts, Dance UK, PACE Youth Theatre, ShowKids, All or Nothing Aerial Dance and with the Tron Theatre’s Participation department. Most recently, she has co-created new company The Audio Story Company with an aim to creating exciting and unique audio content for children and young people. So far The Audio Story Company has partnered with and created work for PACE Youth Theatre, Hopscotch Theatre Company and the Tron Theatre, as well as creating use-at-home resources for families and young people. The Audio Story Company’s work has an underlying focus on mental wellbeing and mindfulness through creativity and imagination. Sarah also co-created Movers Group – a community of Movers in Scotland who come together regularly to share, explore and maintain their movement practices. Open to anyone who works professionally with movement: movement directors, actors, writers, choreographers, and anyone with a movement-based arts practice.
