The Charles Rennie Mackintosh Society is a non-profit charity which promotes the work of Scottish artist, architect and designer Charles Rennie Mackintosh.

Our headquarters are in Maryhill at Mackintosh Queen’s Cross, a now deconsecrated church building designed and built by Mackintosh back in 1899. We are now a cultural hub, hosting events such as concerts, art exhibitions, workshops, lectures, educational school visits, walking tours, community activities and more!

We have an extensive volunteering programme with over 65 volunteers from school age young people to retirees who help at all levels of the organisation with varying levels of commitment, Volunteers get involved in activities such as providing an information service, tour guiding, archiving and research projects, retail, exhibitions and social media.

We are a small but ambitious charity continuing to encourage awareness of Scotland’s most famous architect whilst providing opportunities which safeguard Mackintosh’s legacy for generations to come.
