The Bold Collective
Glasgow CAN's Youth Arts Division

The Bold Collective is Glasgow CAN’s youth strand. The Bold Collective is made up of young people who are passionate about youth arts in Glasgow.

Working as a committee of young people between the ages of 14 and 25, The Bold Collective are invested in promoting, participating and encouraging access to the arts for other young people in Glasgow with a particular focus on those facing barriers to participation.

Although delivery is currently taking place online, The Bold Collective usually meet regularly at our central home at South Block or at other relevant venues across the city. They discuss and promote local creative opportunities for young people in the city, as well as organising and hosting events and workshops which give access to industry professionals and their experiences, and promote networking and skills sharing. The committee are busy with activities year round including creative skill sharing workshops, event and exhibition planning, visiting theatre and performances and are looking to expand even further.

If you are a young person between the ages of 14-25 and interested in the creative industry and looking to get involved, or if you know someone who is, we would be happy to hear from you!

Glasgow CAN would like to take this opportunity to thank The National Lottery’s Young Start Fund for supporting this programme.

Email youtharts@glasgowcan.org if you are, or know a young person who would like to get involved with The Bold Collective or would like more information.
